Scarlett and Kashmir’s First Adventure

Raven Hill Horse Adventures Book 1: Scarlett and Kashmir’s First Adventure is a full-color illustrated children’s book that follows two real Gypsy Vanner horses through a day of discovery on Raven Hill farm. Young readers meet Scarlett, a chestnut mare with flowing feathers, and her smoky-black filly-daughter Kashmir, as the two explore the paddock, find a salt block, greet a bluebird, and settle in as the sun sets over the farm.

Every illustrated spread is paired with a coloring page of the same scene, giving children a chance to bring the horses and the farm to life in their own colors. The book closes with a real photograph of Scarlett and Kashmir at Raven Hill.
